I go to see Nicholas Zendler DO he is a neurologist at the Adult Epilepsy Center at MultiCare in Tacoma. I have only seen him once and I really liked him. We seemed to agree on what were reasonable limitations. I also think he had very good listening skills. It was my first appointment with him, and he spent 45 minutes with me. Dr Zendler is currently on Paternity leave, his wife just had twins.

I think a Neurologist treats all sorts of neurological disorders. Where an Eleptologist ican treat other disorders, but they are more specialized.

An Epileptologist who went thru medical school takes Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology, takes Neurological disorders , specializes in Seizures Disorders it’s another 2 years outside of regular medical physician depending on University’s training. When I was working, I taught Epileptologist how to read EEG’s. How to monitor patients w/ medications and test medications via the EEG’s . Interpretations were interesting you could see it via EEG’s, blood work and MRI’s . I found it interesting how interesting art! New medications , new testing and new ways of preventing sz’s.
