Thank you. I was just perusing some of the other Q&A’s on here and saw you have to be strict about it but that Keto could possibly help.
I began eating healthy due to another health factor. I noticed when I dropped the sugar from my morning coffee, started drinking more bottled water rather than drinking soda or fruit juices, and eating fish, chicken rather than fatty meats. I still will have red meat but it will be lean without the excessive fat. My diet has a lot of vegetables, fruits, and nuts mixed into it.
The key I have learned is the drinking of water throughout the day fills the body. Another key that I have learned is to eat everything at a small moderation rather than have meals to where the body is feeling like it is full. We've been using the Instant Pot with variation of recipes that are found making them healthy for us. How we do it is cutting the salt by using sea salt, using stevia if the recipe calls for sugar, my husband has diabetes Type II, and always adding in extra vegetables to a recipe that we are doing as it just makes everything taste better.
I did pure Keto/paleo for 2 years. Does seem to help some epileptics. I lost 20 Lbs but no effect on seizures. It's time consuming and not particularly healthy, so I stopped. Worth a shot.
Thank you 😊 my seizures have been med resistant since July so I am looking to diet now.
There are many out there, but I recently started with a fasting diet I put together bout 4 months ago and it seems to be doing my condition and weight loss good and plan on staying with for bit, my opinion
