I don’t think it’s safe for you to be in a wheelchair , unless your Significant other, is going to be close by you and your Wheelchair 24/7 . Seizuring on the wheelchair isn’t safe .it would probably be uncomfortable for you . Sitting on a soft cushion furniture, is much safer, than a wheelchair.
If there are stairs , how is your significant other going to get you up and down a flight of stairs, with out you falling or Injuring your head, Worsening your Epilepsy.
As I said, I have a walker to use. I am not having seizures any longer, but the big bad ones, I needed to sit down. My walker allows me to do that. I did fall after not eating for a reason, now have a fall down cannot get up button. The Doctor said it would not help with seizures, however.
Dave she is and I’m lucky to have her in my life. She know I have trouble at times with seizures and wants me to be safe. Truthful some days I feel like needing a wheelchair and I’ve had those days on several occasions. and I’ve noticed it more and more anymore. I guess I should go on and get me fitted for the wheelchair.
Jeffery , I also have oa in my spine. So obviously between the two conditions I probably should at least keep a wheelchair on hand. That I have thought about doing for sometime. We were talking about this a couple days ago and she’s thinks I should go with the Tilite cr1 . The newest on they came out with that isn’t titanium.
I loose my balance on my right side when I have a complex partial seizure. I have given myself some nasty bruises. I survive through them. My husband says he should wrap me in bubble wrap.lol 🌞
Yoga 🧘 helps with my balance.
Keep your independence while you can.
