The Neurostimulator (RNS) is a device that was surgically put in my head. I had so many EEG’s, including a surgical one, where I didn’t have any big seizures so they were a waste. The RNS not only helps stop seizures but it also records my brain activity 24/7. Whenever I do have a seizure or aura my mom will touch my head with a magnet. That will mark that spot as important so the doctors can take a closer look at it. Before I go to bed every night I turn on the RNS monitor 💻 and place a wand on my head. It will take a minute or two to download any seizure info onto the monitor. After it’s finished downloading I hit “Send” and all of the information is sent to my doctors. When I go see the doctors they get out their computer and can see everywhere I had a seizure and everywhere I marked with the magnet. Most of the lines are smooth but when they go to a spot where I had a seizure the lines get bouncy ——-wwwwww———. They will write down whatever information. Since I do still have some seizures the doctors have risen the amps several times. To do that the doctors just place a wand on my head and do some adjusting on their computer. I never feel any vibrations.

There's no scientifically made to detect the seizure that has to be down by an aura if you have one. I f you do have auras the VNS is a charged battery the is implanted on the left hand side right next to your shoulder on the chest . They set it to send out a minor electrical impulse on its own every few minutes, and attempt the impulse from the VNS collides with the impulse that causes a seizure, They also give you a strong magnet that if you have an aura you can put the magnet on the VNS and it sends out and impulse to attempt catch it before fully developed. Some time it can't stop it because the impulse from seizure grew to strong to be stopped. It didn't work for me Since I don't have aura and the went of every 5 minutes so many seizures went right thru. The VNS is still in me but doesn't do anything because I didn't have the battery charged up since it went dead.. Hope you get all if not best info you need!!!

If you're trying to keep track of seizures, being on known having one. I just saw this device, THE EMBRASSED 2 SEIZURE WATCH, it can set an alarm if needed, can send a text, and other for safety detecting convulsions. Thought if just to keep track for yourself have it set for a text to yourself to keep count of unknown seizures.
