I am extremely violent and strong. I have flipped tables, fallen down flights of stairs, anything to try and "get out" of these seizures.
I understand the incredibly strong part. Comes with the big seizures. Your muscles really work overtime when these happen. If they're happening at night, it might be worth looking at "softening" your surroundings to protect every part of you. Maybe get the mattress on the floor, move as much hard stuff ( nightstands, dressers, etc ) out of the room as you can? I know that with mine ( I've been told ) I tend to stay in one place in bed, but long arms and close walls can really, really hurt you a lot. It doesn't take a lot of motion to get your head just a little bit closer to something that it shouldn't hit. Maybe find some body pillows ( or just a bunch of regular ones ) to surround yourself with while you're sleeping?
Oh my goodness! I'm not sure. I've had multiple hospitalizations from falls and crashing in to a house. I've simply changed the things I do. I'm wondering if there are head guards in medical supplies?
@KylaStaub
Would a neck pillow work to hold your head in place?
Yeah maybe a medical grade helmet could be softer on the inside and harder on the outside! That is a great idea!! Thank you so much for your feedback! I appreciate you soo much!
