@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I get what you're saying but you can create other issues when you start doing things like that. Personally, I would check with a GP or a specialist before doing it or only do it if you really have to.

I think that having you explain what you are doing and what you are trying to do to help her with the condition she has, and if you can come to a medium with her, It's not to hurt her but help her health but better her off in the future,

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , if a young kid doesn’t want or thinks they don’t have to take their meds , the parent of that child has to think of an alternative way of giving the meds to them.

The manufacturer can’t do much , except put a not with the medication explaining about not crushing the meds. Just like those medications that say to eat before taking them. But that person may not follow that and just take the medication.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member You would have to ask the specialist about crunching up meds. A lot of the manufacturers advice against this because it can alter the way the med is released into your body. The only way around it is with a Liquid form med.

When I was a child they had me seeing a specialist that basically specialises in children Or Children with either chronic health issues or Neurological issues. So the treatment back then was very different to what I have now.
