Anyone On So Much Medication That Feeling Physical Pain Is Affected?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’ve had stitches twice, and fractured a bone in my good shoulder this year. I’ve had knee and shoulder surgery in the past. My knee continues to swell up at times and my bad shoulder can pop in and out.
I shouldn’t be complaining but I haven’t needed a Advil, Tylenol or aspirin.
After a seizure I can feel the headache but it doesn’t hurt.

I did in the past when I first came down with epilepsy when 25yrs. ago Have migraine headaches after most seizures until 2nd brain surgery. Now I take 3 different types of epilepsy meds. and have high tolerance for pain.

From falling or just accidentally injuring myself. Doesn’t matter if seizure related or not.

Is this from tensing up,or like from falls or something else?

With myself I’m taking more than one medication. But it’s for a different reason. I’m taking a combination of 5 different AED medications to help control my seizures. With those 5 meds , my seizures still aren’t 100%controlled
