Thank you John. It's something I've been batting around for a couple of years. Here in South Dakota there is no real busing system or anything like that to get me back and forth to work. I work way out there and in the winter walking in 20 below is out of the question. My memory is not what it used to be and with the field that I'm in I need my memory. The thing is I'm still working and I want to look into this before they get rid of me because that's what it feels like is what's happening it seems like in the last month I've had several complaints against me from my workers and I haven't had a complaint in the 10 years that I've been here. Just shaking my head

Not to discourage you but it does take work I wish there were more info for epilepsy suffers trying to get disability. Epilepsy is more difficult to get disability than other more known diseases I think because we don't look "sick " in most cases and our main issue beyond the pain ,the fatigue were can't drive in many cases and there is just the fear of having a seizure and in public it's even more horrible so you don't want to be out and most of us dont have any clear real warning one is coming so you have to just document all you can really explain how it has and is currently effecting your life so that you can't work a normal real job. I was making high six figures I am a veteran ,college grad single father and then all of a sudden I had pancreatic cancer in 2015 had a. Massive surgery to survive then 2019 small car wreck 12 days after horrible gran ma seizure but through my tounge and another one a month later I got some short term 2000 a month disability from my job for about a year denied social security still fighting so if anyone wants to talk more about what I have learned just send a message

I would have to say that a letter from your doctor will most likely be necessary. There are a few more steps in the process of getting disability for epilepsy. You are going to have to find from social security whether you can get SSI or SSDI. I hope it doesn't come down to this for you. I wish you the best. Good luck.
