It doesn’t take that long to renew your freedom pass. I guess that it depends on your local council. It’s mainly done on-line now, so it would be a good idea to check the site to see what you need to renew the pass.

It really depends on where you live, and how you do it. Mine doesn’t take long - admittingly I can’t remember how long it took me to get mine done, but it is now mainly done online. Perhaps you need to find an advisor who can help you to get the bus pass sorted out. I’ve heard of other people having the same problem.

Just renewed mine my neurologist/nurse sorted out my letter to go with the bus pass renewal letter which I just had to tick a couple of boxes
Photos I didn't need to renew when I explained that all the photo booth machines were all touch payment and I didn't have that

My drs got back to me, they want me to pay £55 to them or their bank account 🙄🙄

To renew it probably is not as long if you inform them my parking pass is being renewed for my sisters car when I go shopping
