Feeling Of Hopelessness😢😢
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Why do I get so emotional after recovery from seizure attack or when I get auras..I always feel hopeless, angry and I can't help but cry my heart out.😢😢

Charity: Having a seizure or even the aura isn't something we look forward to. It's an event that we hate. Your reactions are understandable. But try to think of the seizure as as something you will learn to deal with. They're going to happen. Do everything you can to prevent them. If they still happen keep asking your doctor how you can relieve them. As for your friends, you'll discover who your real friends are. I know, words are easy - but living with seizures isn't.

Charity, I think of a seizure as an event that happens. When it is over, I just go on with whatever I was doing before it happened. If it makes me very tired I may take a nap but then just get up and do on with my life.

I know how you're feeling @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member. I felt the same way all of the time. After having my seizures & feeling the auras. I'm happy I'm still alive today.
