Can I ask
My epilepsy is of a sleep only related type
Sometimes referred to as nocturnal epilepsy. I have never had one when awake.
Does anyone else within the group have the same and then find it extremely difficult to get work and others that epilepsy variants of this type have totally different legislations on them.

Yes,only when in a deep sleep.after effects,migrains and memory loss,fatigue.

I can understand as some days after having my sleep seizures it can knock me backwards.
Yesterday was a full on migraine and I did not recover till later afternoon.
I’ve had mine for 41 years but what hurts me is people and employers that still treat you differently thinking because you have epilepsy of a different kind don’t understand the differences.

Yes, my seizures are only nocturnal. I was diagnosed first in 2000 and again in 2020. I'm allowed to keep my driver's license. The migraines, memory loss, and fatigue have been a challenge.
