Call the Dr who gave him the scrip and list his issues.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , You can find on Google a list of the side effects & I found that stomach pains can be a side effect, but isn’t the most common but there are other team members on here who have had stomach issues while on Keppra. You can go to the Question & Answer section by clicking on the “Q & A”at the top of the page & then click on the round circle ⭕️ that has a little line attached to it & a rectangle search box should come up & then type in something like “Keppra stomach pain” & that will probably bring up some questions that have been discussed in the past & the comments to those questions will be there. I ran across one when on Google & so hopefully that or similar things comes. As for Keppra, you’ll find mixed reviews of it on here. Keppra is known to cause mood swings, anger issues & make people not act like themselves, all known as the Keppra Rage. It is also known to cause excessive drowsiness & sometimes making it where you have trouble sleeping at night. In mid 2019 I took Keppra for about 2 months & it made me so tired that I had to take a nap every day & eventually I started having trouble sleeping at night & so I got off it. Many others have had issues of the Keppra making them way to tired. But there are some who don’t have any problems with it or others who can’t find anything else to work & so they deal with the side effects. So if your husband is uncomfortable with the side effects of Keppra he could call his doctor & asked to be switched to a different medication. I hope he gets to feeling better. At www.epilepsy.com you might find some information about different medications. Welcome to the site. Your friend in Texas, Becky
