Has Anybody Ever Built Up A Resistance To Their Medication And Had To Change It?
I've been on Keppra for 12 years and now starting to have complex partial seizures, Doc has introduced Epilim and Pregabalin to see how that works. I would appreciate any comments or feedback. Thanks !
my son was on keppra for 3 years but not working as well as had breakthrough tonic clonics so neuro adding in zebinix (aptiom) now.
As we get older our metabolism changes. And our medications are not as effective as they used to be when we first started taking them. Ask your doctor about side effects of your new medications. It will take a few weeks for your system to get used to a new drug. Hope it will work for you.
I have maxed out on all my medications. My only option left is the VNS unfortunately.
I have drug resistant epilepsy. So medications work for a few years and then they don’t. Hopefully everything works out for you.
