Well for me I just don't think about it. At all. Having said that this is kind of hard atm because I'm in the middle of finding out more about my condition. My best advice would be if you are stressed then avoid FB epilepsy groups at all costs some of the stuff that gets put on there can be very bad for anxiety and stress levels.

Don’t focus on when you’re going to have a seizure but look at it as could you have another seizure. Depression, anxiety and stress are all three things that can cause a seizure. Check with your doctor and he may be able to give you something or may refer you to a psychiatrist so that you can get medication for it. I have bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety along with my epilepsy but my neurologist doesn’t treat all of it so I have to go to another doctor for those things 👍❤️🙏

My seizures come in cycles. I will have 5-6 days where I get seizures and then 8-10 days where I am normal and start to hope I’m finally getting things under control. Of course, it’s not. I read the studies and there is always a percentage of people who become seizure free. I have to except I’m not one of them and get a mindset of when the next one will come, not if it will. I really appreciate this forum since I get to relate to others in similar situation. Thanks to all

Are you taking part in a double blind test of a medication? I did that, but you do not know until the end if you are taking a placebo. It is worth doing, though.

Stress is a major issue for many, myself included. I take my triggers and medication seriously, of course. Do you know yours? They are good to know. I try to get good sleep and enough, and eat well.

You want to try not to get stressed. STRESS is a common trigger to our seizures, along with lack of sleep, no one medication, dosage of us are late taking them, anxiety and depression.

Epilepsy and seizures are now a Fact of life for you. You want to try not stress out get anxiety, and ect. Try and keep positive thoughts and attitude.

I seizures seem to increase , that’s when you need to talk to your Dr. He/She can increase your medication dosages or try a different medication.
