I'm like sean I had one 5 years ago my pic. Looks just like his its sounds horrible at first I was like look stop telling me about holes in my head lol. It's not as bad as it looks or sounds it's more annoying i guess how i would put it. Its sounds terrible but in promise not as bad as your thinking ( or wasn't for me ) i did this before my RNS good luck

It wasn’t too bad. I wasn’t in much pain so it seemed like a normal eeg. I remember for the first couple days I wasn’t allowed to get out of bed. The next couple days I was either allowed to lay in a bed or sit in the chair. Both the bed and the chair had an alarm so if I needed to get up I had to call the nurses.

Anytime, if the doctors bring up a Neurostimulator (RNS) I now have one of those.
