I've Been Told That I Turn Into The Exorcist When I Have Seizures
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had a seizure last night, I was wondering If this happens to anyone else out there ?
I get up and start trying to climb out of windows or run around as if I'm trying to escape from someone or something..

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member Have your neurologist about this? One non-professional theories that you are having is a mutation of your seizure (very common with Epilepsy) or that it or one of your medicines might be instilling suicidal thoughts (regarding to attempt to jump out windows). For example, my general full seizures will end and immediately a complex partial seizure happens. And I had one very long seizure combo from nocturnal to a complex partial seizure when I awakened.

It is best to write down in your diary all you are told about your seizures (or in this case when you wake up after a sleep where you had a nocturnal seizure), and show it to your neurologist.

NOTE: The Exorcist was called in to deal with the person who appeared (in the book, movie, etc.) to be possessed by the devil and thus being able to do these things because of the power given to him by the devil.

It makes sense, don’t ever compare yourself to the exorcist💜 we’re great people who just happen to get a little crazy sometimes🤣 we’re beautiful and unique

One time, I was on a new Med, Potiga. Became someone totally different, screaming at My Husband. Stay away from Me, don’t go near Me. I was pushing Him away like I was freaking out from Him. My Neurologist took Me off right away!
