Dating Question For Group?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do many of you find dating to be an issue? I've finally gotten to a point. [ I had struggled for many years trying to keep my situation under control] now I'm pushing 40] idk what kind of world I maybe heading into. In dating. But I'm thinking I may give this a try. Most women just walk away. Seeing my situation. They just idk why it seems so difficult for them to handle. But I'm trying.

You've got to throw your line in where the fish are biting. You're probably not going to find love in a place where the girls are just lookin' for a "good time." Some women, believe it or not, will see a guy with epilepsy and be able to look past it. Mine did. We all have some imperfection whether it be bodily or a history one is not proud of. Be the kind of person a woman would like to be with and that's half the battle there. For this upcoming generation, I'm just glad I didn't have to deal with all the electronics and the isolation it brings. Good luck. Never stop trying. They're out there.

If you trust that person they accept all your secrets and you might have more than one and so do they but you might not even think it is one or two because you accept them for who they are and what’s sensitive to them doesn’t bother you so why should your sensitive stuff bother them It’s about acceptance and love.
