I have cluster seizes quite a few times, and reading about them keeps me terrified. I can feel them coming but the feeling is very different than the others. Once it hits it feels like a very angry man. It will last a few seconds....stop long enough for me to take one deep breath then start again . It will keep going unti i past out. Does anyone else experience these type seizures? Please let me know .
You may want to talk to your Neurologist or Epileptologist, about seizure recovery medication, like Ativan or Lorazepam ( there are other brands ) . They could help slow to stopping your seizures on the spot. Maybe even reduce your fear.
I use Lorazepam. But, only as needed. It’s not a everyday medication.
I am epileptic since I was small and I have not had any panic attack for the last 28 years now. I want to put a small tattoo on my arm and I would like to know is it safe to put a tattoo on cause this is my first time.
I’ve had one recently and it’s scary. Accupuncture maybe an option, but contact your neurologist about recovery meds.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member - I’ve had epilepsy since 2009. I have 6 tattoos without any issues. Confer with your neurologist, but I think you’ll be fine!
Maybe a a handful of times I've experienced cluster seizures since my diagnosis of 15years now... what I do know or have been told is that cluster seizures are extremely dangerous being that it can possibly lead to status epilepticus..
