I have a week long EEG at U of M. Plan on taking me off all of my medications and inducing as many seizures as possible. Confined to a hospital bed due to all the wires; can basically get up for the bathroom.
I recently had one. I brought my phone and books. There's a TV in the room too. And I brought my sister LOL. It's really not too bad.
The past 4 times I’ve had inpatient EEGS for a week, I would prepack my duffel bag or travel bag , before heading to the hospital. I would bring playing cards, puzzle books with a pen or pencil or both, bring my laptop 💻 or IPad computer , electric games and reading books. I would also bring snacks and pop or juice ( Not Alcohol ). You may want to check with the hospital for those.
I don’t usually read it because my seizures effect my memory and I’m scared I’m not going to remember what I read.
I always bring a book, my iPad, and a picture of my dog.
One other thing you may want to prepack with your stuff, is deodorant.if you want , you can bring Cologne. I don’t know what your body is like, but I can go a couple of day if I wanted without deodorant. The next day my PITS reek of stench . If
