i have 4 types of food seizures and i had every med under the sun. nothing helped. most people only do meds and surgery to be a dr. alternative meds is an additional option. i went with a diet dr and my seizure stopped.
some drs are full of themselves. and when we asked about other options (other than meds and surgery)... drs just are just baffled because they don't know the answers.
1) if drs don't know the cause of a seizure, that is call a idiopathic epilepsy (aka i don't know the cause epilepsy).
2) if you have 2 or more seizures at your lifetime, you will have epilepsy for the rest of your life (even though your seizure free for all of your life).
i hope that helps ya

You are not alone. I’ve been on the majority of AED meds on the market and non of them have worked 100% to control my seizures. I’m on 5 different meds and I take a total of 20 meds a day. All of those meds , I felt like a Guinea pig.

I have even gone through left temporal lobe brain surgery and the VNS surgery treatment. The brain surgery reduced my seizures frequency, but I still have seizures. The VNS suck for me. Didn’t have any luck with it..

You’re definitely not a lone.
