Yep. It's pretty common. I am in the process of interviewing therapists for depression myself.

Well they diagnosed me with epilepsy 1st, after having numerous tests but then my neurologist sent me to a hospital that specializes in epilepsy to see if I qualified for surgery & according to them, my seizures aren't epileptic but caused by severe depression & anxiety. I didn't even know that I was depressed or had anxiety 😐so I was prescribed meds for depression & they're sending me to a psychiatrist🤷🏽either way I'm gonna keep on praying & pressing..we got this💪🏾💪🏾

some dep & anx meds have seizures as a side effect also. If you are under severe stress and prone to seizures the severe stress can trigger them also.
I've been diagnosed since I was 10 yrs old and I'm 45 now. I've been on many different combinations of meds have had a VNS implant for 16 years and had a temporalobectomy on the right side and have gotten my seizures way down, but now suffer from severe anxiety and depression so I have to take meds for that also.
All being said 1 med feed the other, while the other meds fight off the side effects...
