I Been Curious About Insuance Vs Epilepsy.
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Since people with epilepsy are not allowed to have insurance because it being pre existing. I wonder about a child or adult who used to have epilepsy for for a short term and now considered a pre existing.

I enrolled in united health care last September and I love it they take care of everything , they will even send a nurse out to visit you on a house call and occasionally have someone call you to make sure you are alright and ask if you need anything

I've never had a problem with that. As far as I know as of 2014 in the US no insurance plan can reject you, charge you more, or refuse to pay for essential health benefits for any pre-existing condition. Look it up for yourself.
