I’m a teenager and sometimes I feel like an outcast because I don’t have a license or a car. It just sucks asking for a ride all the time and they get mad at you. It’s just I’m struggling with this so much. I just want to feel like I have some control.
Glad to hear hope all go good for you
I needed a note from my doctor stating I was under control, my last seizure at that time was close to three years. It took over a month for the note to arrive because of a postal strike.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I have a bus pass too. If I was to use it to go see certain drs, I would have to schedule my appointment for 3pm and take the first bus at 9am because there are only 4 buses and they only go to their certain routains every 2 hours. After my 3pm appointment, I will have to wait until the 4:30 bus to take me to the bus stop. But my bus home doesn't come around until 6:30 and heads to bus station. So I will have to wait until 8am for my next bus. Lunch, Dinner, hotel each time costs more than my $43 car insurance a month. I don't take my van in for repairs I take care of them and my 310 miles per tank van ($74 a month on gas) is still cheaper than lunch, dinner and hotel.
