does rescue medications used in emergency for seizures work on non-epileptic seizures.
I mean the ones they use in hospitals to stop recurring seizures.
I dont think so. I took a recuecmed when i was having a seizure while getting picked up in ambulance and itvwas put up my nose like a spray or something, my head felt better and not seizing but my bladder was so full i almost peed in the ambulence. It was painful.
@ Margery I had one yesterday the thing is it can change on you what I mean is when I was having my seizure last night I didn't have the chance to go and sit or lay down like I usually do I just fell then it happened but during it my body moved and I was facing face down and I couldn't breathe from the seizure and being on my chest which it made it worse that was scary and I knew I needed to really try and push my body on the side which is hard when you paralysed and your muscles are stiff as anything or else I'm going to suffocate to death you really cant be too complacent with seizures.
I learnt my lesson I shouldn't of ignored my warning signs and think I can do something for another minute like the stubborn person I am.
My rescue meds works great for me. I normally use it, when I have cluster seizures. It slows them down to a halt .
When I feel auras are going to start, I take an Alprazalim. The feelings go away and don't need to worry about seizures. My dr gives me a refill of 10 and lasts around 6 months.
clobazam is a good rescue medication, effective , very low likability, low abuse & long half life tail. Its made my life a lot easier having it on hand than having to convince drs I need diazepam on hand! clobazam check it out Nada.
