I was just wondering when you show your video recordings of your seizures to your neurologist or GP do they watch the whole video or just a few seconds of it?
Is it normal for them to not watch it all?
I mean watching only a few seconds isn't going to give you a lot of information .
When I showed my videos to my neurologist he didn't watch them for long just looked at it for a second and that's it ,I mean I know they are not fun to watch but I think watching the whole video would give a better understanding of what goes on I have recently recorded new videos because I'm considering going to another neurologist depending on how my follow up appointment goes.
I used to record as I slept. I would save all the videos and just copy the seizures themselves to another file. Once I gathered all the recordings I would only show him the worst ones.
I don't know your exact situation but I felt I had to record mine. My original doctors thought I just had a sleep disorder. I had to show my new doctor what was happening.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I'm just trying to see from other people's experiences if that's normal, I had a seizure today that I recorded and it's different to the other ones I've shown at the beginning I will give this neurologist another go but if his attitude is like usual I will change.
Wow,and I would get a second opinion elsewhere because he could've watched the entire video.I really don't understand some people.
