A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

A bit scared to take these new meds being that every other med Ive taken still made me have seizures or almost killed me.

I'm on it now and been on it for almost 2 years, haven't had any side effects and it seems to be helping

And Sid keep in touch & let us know how you go! I went up to 200 mg a day & found it a bit too much & went to 150 mg

Going through same process it gets tiring but don't worry they'll find what you need and you can feel magnificent again ✨ don't loose sleep I'm sure everything will turn out fine!

I was on it and loved it! I did not like Keppra due to the behavioral changes but briviact is like the cousin to keppra. It stripped away those side effects. I unfortunately had to stop taking it because my insurance wouldn’t cover it. So great you’re on it!
