A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

The farther it is, the blurry it gets. Or would it just be my age(30)?

I think age has caused my vision to turn. Age 35 and beyond. New prescription (worse) every exam. About 2 yrs apart.
Cest la vie!

Age will always be a factor. It just depends on your system and what is aging first.

Sid, you say that and I always felt my surgery was the reason my vision got worse. But my epileptologist says he doesn't think it relates to it. I know we don't have the same situation but it goes to show we all have questions about what's happening to us and why.

It could be one of the side effects of your medicine. When i was taking Vimpat one of the side effects was double blurred vision. Took me a few years to finally realize that the drug was the reason i had to have new glasses every 8 months.
