Hard To Speak Or Move After Focal Aware Seizure
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I have simple partial/focal aware seizures that feel like awful dizzy bouts of deja vu. I have focal seizures ,back to back I can't communicate for 24 hours ( aphasia ) frustrating as before I retired I was a speech & language therapist I was having a bad day when I experienced tingling down 1 side Id never had tingling before I think they thought I'd had a TIA,but as it took them 4 hours to assess me my speech was staring to improve They did a bilateral carotid artery scan , satisfactory flow.I would see if you can get to the neuro again , especially with a history of young strokes.Take care x

The best thing if You have not already is write down what is happening when You have a seizure or have another person that write down what they see is happening for You. Then bring what was written down with You and give that to Your Dr. at Your next appointment. If it would Your feel better make an appointment with Your Dr. sooner. I hope this ends for You soon. Good Luck!
