For those that have epilepsy and live in Scandinavian countries what is the medical systems and support like?

Darryl,
I find Canada’s system is pretty good. Depends where you plan on relocating maybe, but overall if you have medical issues they get taken care of pretty well.

half parent's family Suomi Finland. I go there as much as I can the health system v good, pharmacy direct like GP, small local hospitals v gd, fast referral problems. Long term cost health care is based on individual, health, age etc.
Admit still have old EU health card but not had problems anywhere, though once moved in would be best to set up ok source your AEDs. Enjoy!

Thank you all for your responses. No move on the cards just yet (need the money first!). Just me and my wife were talking (as you do) about if we didn't live where we are where would we rather live. I have relatives in Canada and she has relatives in Scandinavia. But I would want to know I can be somewhere that has a good medical system.

Just got in contact with a friend from Sweden admittedly she hasn’t lived there for a while but she wrote that you had to pay for all medical costs. You may like to contact the Swedish embassy or consulate to get up to date info.
