Slow Waves Vs Sharp
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi everyone,

One of my EEGs that I had done in the past said i have temporal frontal slowing while all the others said i have sharp waves. What is the difference?

Also i have frontal lobe epilepsy but recently i am having allot of occipital lobe seizure symtoms. Lots of issues with my eyes and nystagmus

i think temporal frontal slowing meaning is you have seizures in the temporal lobe and frontal lobe of your brain by eeg. sharp pain meaning you have seizures on a eeg.

Nystagmus can be a permanent side effect of anticonvulsants
