If you're on the right meds and haven't had a grand mal seizure or a major seizure in a while and all of a sudden out of no where you had one it's called a breakthrough seizure

A Breakthrough Seizure is when someone white the Epilepsy Disorder and the patient is Assumably seizure free. His/her blood levels are perfect and meds are at the right dosage. Then from out of the blue , he/she has a Breakthrough Seizure.
