Neurologist Vs. Specialist
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Have you had better luck with an epilepsy specialist over a neurologist? Has anyone tried an epilepsy center?

I had a neurologist in Boston Ma.
Dr. Monturois was great. She got me off a lot of medicine. She wanted to know everything about me. When they started, if I took a fall. She wanted to know everything about me. She also is part of the epilepsy foundation. I would receive her to anyone.

Went to John's Hopkins Epilepsy Monitoring Unit for a one week study about three years. They changed my routine. Every year thereafter has improved. My quality of life has drastically improved. Been back at work for the last eight months
