I was initially taking a high dosage of Keppra after my seizures.. It was lowered to 2000mg 2x a day for the past 3 years. April of this year, I started having tremors in hands after I would take Keppra, which I thought was odd, but maybe my meds were too high because I had not had any seizures and I was taking 200mg of Vimpat 2x a day too. Went to Neuro and Keppra was decreased to 1000mg 2x a day. He was not going to touch the Vimpat. The tremors have not stopped, but have decreased. I have not had a seizure since the end of 2016.

They started me off at 1000mg per day, now it's 3000mg. It does make me extremely tired. The upside is it's worked better than any of the other meds.

I take Keppra now 1000 mg and im very tired from it but i just got out the hospital for 12 day i was taking 500mg. On the 500 i still had a seizure so my dr up it to 1000 mg so hope it stop now i was in ICU with a Tube in. My Mouth for 4 days my was made thi time almost die this time still my.dr up it to 1000mg im doing ok now

No, but I am hoping if I continue to not have any more seizures that my doctor will lower my daily doses.

From what I can remember, my dosage for Keppra has always been high.
