Members responded strongly to the question about Keppra side effects, with an overwhelming consensus that Keppra rage is real and can be serious, often catching people off guard before they connect it to the medication. Several members shared personal stories of sudden anger, mood swings, depression, vivid nightmares, fatigue, hair loss, and even nearly losing relationships or jobs because of emotional changes they did not at first recognize as side effects. A recurring theme was the importance of having trusted people nearby to notice behavioral changes, talking to your doctor about switching medications, and researching drug interactions before starting Keppra.

I had anger and tiredness and fatigue and just a unwillingness to do the things I had to love to do. If you're doctor wants to prescribe you keppra you can ask for a list of side effects before trying it to see if it's for you.he can't deny you that request.

Yes, found out about it today - Feb 27th, 2026. I'm trying to decide whether or not to start taking it myself at the age of 74. It's been offered to me twice and I've said "no" each time because of side effects that I've heard other people mention. I'm researching Keppra at the moment and checking for interactions against other medications that I take. Still haven't made up my mind.

I have been on Keppra since 2018. My seizures have been less, of course since my doses have increased but the side effect that benefited me was lack of appetite. I have lose about 60 pounds.
