CBD Vs Ativan
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have clusters of seizures that take hours to break (100-150 seizures) and i take 2-3 milligrams of Ativan to break the cluster. Anyone know if CBD would benefit me.

I use Ativan and CBD oil, it doesn’t seem to bother me at all. In my case, I definitely need both, especially if stressed or tired.

In your case don't get rid of your Ativan by any means but it would not hurt to see what the CBD would do for you! Look into third party tested CBD. Make sure it doesn't have any strange additives. Some companies got caught putting cough syrup and other junk in their CBD.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member i took almost every med possible with no help. some of the meds made me have clusters of seizures. the only thing that works is a keto diet (lesson the seizures) and the cbd oil. just go with your gut feeling and do a little research.

Yes i take very high doses of my medicantions but i deal with cluster seizures and Ativan is my go to. But if there was something out there that could take them away faster than 2+ hours i would love it. Im currently on 2400mg of Carbamazipine , 800mg of Topiramate and up 5mg of Ativan which i never need that much
