Watched an interesting feature on TV about memory and imagination. I know that when we have lots of seizures it damages our memory but who has problems with their imagination and visualising things? for example when I am away from home I can't visualise what it looks like.
I only thing I have I have trouble with is memories. The last year in a half is some what lost. This is when I had my worst seizures and surgeries. My family help out a lot to remind me of the things that went on. When I first started having seizures, I'd forget where I was. After my first brain bypass I didn't recognize my husband. And I don't remember the things I said or did. It can be scary but I believe in the good Lord!! Without Him, nothing would have gone right.
I can tell the difference if I'm imagining things but sometimes my dreams repeat over and over again sometimes I have been woken up by my husband. It scares me sometimes, I thank God every day for my husband he's there every minute and hour for fifteen years. If you have anyone special that help you tell God and them thank you and be patient and thankful 😉💗😊
I also forget things from time to time and my imagination is good especially when it comes to being creative
my imagination is better than ever and i had seizures all of my life. i had seizures at least once a day. i dont get street signs but when i see a house or a certain thing once, i will remember it. and i see things in a different light. i wonder if you were a kid and have seizures, your imagination and memory is in another spot? i think mine did.
I agree, I hate depending on others. My son has been taking care of me since he was 7 years old and he is 34 now and he has never lived his life because of taking care of me. I hope to be able to repay him someday. He was suppose to of went to Georgetown University and because of me having seizures he didn't go. I feel really bad about it. Today is National SMILE POWER DAY. REMEMBER, A smile a day can make a difference in someone's else's day.
