Human Ark

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I was approached by an entity called Human Ark. They are some how associated with my health care provider and claim to be able to help/represent me in regard to SS benefits and more (at no cost to me). Sounds to good to be true. Has anyone had any experience with this organization. I spoke to them at length today and they seem legit, but I just don't trust my own judgment anymore.

HumanArk sounds very suspious to me.
And you know what they say "If it sounds to good to be true"
IT is.

We have to be extremely careful when it comes to our Social Security &
our Desibility payments~~ My parents made a major mistake by not informing
Social Security when I was diagnosed, thus I can't get any Disability insurance
payments because it would be AFTER my diagnosis !!!

You’re welcome @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member . I never heard of this org , until today. The Epilepsy Foundation was always my resource for epilepsy and subjects that relates to it.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, thank you for the website. There was no program like this available in the 70's.

They recently started calling me after my son was diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay. They said they were sent by his insurance provider. I have also received letters from the wic office to schedule an appointment and they say they were recieved but my insurance company and job and family service cuz it's Medicaid. I think they are legit but I have not talked to anyone they left voicemails.
