A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

My specialist has said I can now try for a baby! But i have a few risks cause I’m on 3 medication. 2 are safe but he says the topamax can be a risk...

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member: Your neurologist needs to put you in a safer drug.

Call the makers of Topomax and ask for their opinion. Someone I know, had taken that drug, and was off it for quite some time. She got pregnant and her child has been severely autistic since birth. I believe her daughter has violence. She's about 13 today.
