Corticosteroids And Epilepsy
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi I have epilepsy have done for 30 years generally every six months always hormonal anyway I have just been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and they want to give me a shot of corticosteroid tomorrow in my knee but i have been reading all sorts of horror stories about how it increases seizures , does anyone have any experience in having these injections while being epileptic? Also I’m on lamatrogine 200mg daily, many thanks x
