A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been thinking alot about getting surgery for my Epilepsy but of course it is a huge decision.

If any of you have had the surgery and don't mind sharing, could you give a little feedback on what your experience was like?

I had the Vagal Nerve Stimulater in until I got a chest infection but while I had it in it worked great it helped a lot I don't know many people that it has not worked for.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience Bryan. To say the least, you are a very strong person. I'm glad to hear the CBD is working for you. Thanks again.

I had a right anterior temporal labectomy in 2007 at U of M. I was having seizures that were not controlled with medication. I was taking 3 medications everyday. I went almost 12 1/2 years seizure free, until the loss of my parents. I am only on 1 medicine now. I have gone almost 3 years now seizure free.
