As most of you know I was just recently diagnose with epilepsy at age 46. And it has been a hard pill to swallow. I just noticed it is epilepsy awareness month. And was wondering if anyone knows or can help me start a epilepsy group in my community. I know for me when first found out I realized that mere is not a lot of information or local awareness on this. And would love to help people with support and knowledge about it. I am so sorry that you found out. It is not something that you want to hear for sure. I am 45 but I have had a version of it all my life. It has gotten worse over the years. Most people who have it from childhood on get better. I am contrary though in most things- this included. LOL. I wish you luck in finding a support group. Most of what I do is online because I live in a rural community in Georgia. I would be happy to talk to you from time to time.
