I have an Epileptologist. They are Neurologists , but they specialize in patients with Epilepsy and seizure disorders.

Neurologist. Only way to get good help with a bad situation.

definitely neuro. neuros and epileptic drs (neuros that specializes in epilepsy and seizures) specializes in the brain. pcp can be nurses, physician, or drs. if pcp cant find a cause then they will recommend a specialist like a neuro.
why get the hassle of a pcp if you know the pcp will recommend you to a neuro?

Thanks all for responses. I did think my neurologist would trump my pcp. Just going through a tough situation where people are making me second guess that answer. Frustrating.
