I have had tingly, crawling feelings in the left side of my head since at least diagnosis with epilepsy. The day I had my first seizure was the day I was diagnosed with an AVM, October of 2012 (cause of the seizures). The AVM is in tje left frontal lobe. They started treatment for the AVM about 2 days after the seizure. So i don't know if these feelings are related to seizures or the treatment for the AVM. My specialist i see says it is normal to feel like you have things crawling on you, creepy i know. I don't like it either but it doesn't happen to all seizure patients. I have the same problem. It's my head, arm, leg, etc.. Funny i hit that area thinking it is going to stop but it doesn't but if i do something and ignore it it seems to go away. For me it doesn't happen all the time but it does happen, so your not alone.
It is always a strange feeling. I am sorry about the migraines, I hear they are not fun at all. Keep your head up is the advice I can give. We all have this disorder and we are in this shit together. All of us in the Philadelphia should meet up.
Speak to your Neurologist or Doctor next time you see him/her. It could be aura related or perhaps migraine.
