VNS friends: is that a protective sticker on my magnet? Leave it alone? Thanks Jeff

Jeff, my magnet also has a shiner looking sticker on it. First I wasn’t sure it was a sticker, so I started picking at it to try to get it off. It was extremely difficult to peel, and I only managed to get a tiny spot off...so I just left it alone. It does it’s job with the coating on it. I’m afraid if I did manage to get it off, it would leave a sticky surface.

Jeff-
No, as you see above, I don't think you want to try to peel anything off and I have no problems using my computer while wearing the magnet.

But on the question of wristbands; if you ever need to use the magnet quickly it is much more reliable to have it on your wrist. I *hate* wearing jewelry of any kind but have gotten used to the bracelet. We keep the other magnet on a keyring that is hung on the side of my wife's nightstand since I have most of my seizures in my sleep.

The strap that came with my magnet was the wrong size. If you buy your own, you should get the 20mm width. If you search for single strap bands or bond straps you will find a large selection.

Here is one of mine. (I have a red and white version as well.)

Hi Jeff, the two that I have look just like yours.
I am going to have the battery replaced at the end of this month.
I guess it will be a same day surgery. I have heard about side effects of replacing the battery like increased hoarse voice, discomfort on the left side of neck and a few others. I feel that I can handle those instead of any type of brain surgery.
As far as the magnet, I have one of my magnet with me no matter whether I am by a computer or not it has not had any problems with the computer

Thank you for clearing up. Angela. I will not take off the shiny. It belongs there.
Thank you all my friends.
