I had my VNS put in almost 2 years ago and had to have surgery done for it 7 months after it was put in to have the machine part adjusted and moved up a bit from where it was first put in because I dropped a lot of weight really fast and the machine part became loose where it was moving around in my chest and pitching my nerves and muscles. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue

The last sentence in your post was for a wristband? Ive seen them online. Google "VNS magnet".
Call and see who gave it to you. My doctor was able to replace it through who sent it to him.
Thank you so much janan that was very helpful. I've asked both my neurologist and my neurosurgeon about the magnet replacements and they told me to contact the company that made my device to get the replacements but I've been having a hard time with them but I'm going to continue to try. Like you I lost my magnet that clips on to my belt but the crazy thing with how I lost it is how I some how lost it when being taken to the hospital via ambulance because of a super sever seizure I had had.
I had the same problem. My device moved a small amount, but was told the device was fine. As to your magnets, my dr in Dallas always carried a supply. Now my new drs here I'm less confident about. Cyberonics CS should be able to help you. This is the Cyberonics CS number I have - (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators). It is a CS number. My Bedford, TX neurologist told me that a refrigerator magnet would be adequate and I laughed. Of course not! The first time I talked to them, Cyberonics, they told me that my dr would be able to provide me with replacement magnets. I know I have lost 2 or 3 belt magnets myself. Probably one of the reasons you have to go through you dr is difficulties mailing a magnet. It gets stuck in the machinery. Good luck. I believe their office is in Houston, TX, if I remember correctly.
