Break Threw Seizures

i need to know if anyone has heard of break threw seizures and if u have can you tell me more about them my 6 year old is haveing them and im trying to find out more about them and what i can do to make them go away

Breakthrough seizures means the drug(s) your child are on are not working at the right dosage and may need to be raised or if the drug is at the highest dose and they are still having breakthroughs another drug may need to be added. I would suggest calling the doctor. Breakthrough seizures are normal unfortunately with epilepsy. It happens on different meds or as one gets older seizures change. I'm sorry. I hate to hear when kids are experiencing it. Hugs.

Sometimes, different medications work better with different people. Not to mention that a child’s metabolism changes so much day to day. They grow so fast, & their medications may need to be adjusted frequently for a while. Do call your doctor.
