I take it and it helps with my auras and seizures. It puts a stop to them fast.

Yes.. but you will become dependant on it, and require a higher dose. Benzos are good but be careful. Big stigma about them.

I take klonopin and have no side effects. I love it! It helps with anxiety/stress; the main trigger for a seizure. I hope this helps.

I took klonopin for a while many years ago. My first neurologist prescribed it to me after my epilepsy diagnosis. She was just trying to figure out the best combo to treat my issues. It did help my anxiety temporarily, but the bad thing is when your body gets use to them and you can’t get your medicine, and miss a dose, it’s not fun. The comedown will make you even more anxious. They are addictive, and your body will start to expect it. I weened myself off of what I used to take, but it took a while. In my opinion this drug should only be used under a doctor’s direct care. Be especially careful if you, or your family has a history of addiction. With all that being said, I completely understand how it is. I know you just want to feel better, and feel normal, but I would definitely tread carefully with Kolonopin or other benzos .
