Using Tools To Keep You Safe?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Would you use tools for daily living to help keep you safe in case of a seizure? Such as a shower chair or a rail for the bed etc.
The way they are sold can portrayed as only for this group of people witch can make it have a "stereotype" and hard for some people to use it.
Would you still use it?
I just wanted peoples opions on this question.
Me personally have no issue and would not hesitate to get the items need. I feel it would be more of an issue for others around me.

When my epilepsy was bad, a rail in the shower that I could grip when necessary would have been helpful. As I grow older having something to hold makes sense anyway. I would say look after your health and if you feel you would be safer with a rail than without, you should get one to suit your needs.
