My son never misses his medicine. But he will get days where he doesn't want to eat and he becomes very weak. He falls a lot and can't hold anything. He has been having seizures daily lately. Can anyone help with suggestions?
That helps me out so much. I'm still trying to adjust to him having epilepsy. It's so hard. Watching him go through this. We have tried a couple different medicines so far this one works but he still has seizures is that normal?
He is on the topimax has been on it for a couple months. He is usually pretty good but sometimes he just doesn't want to eat anything. It scares me
I have been on topamax over 20 yrs this med does that to us. We lose our appetite. I eat lite stuff eggs, veggies, chicken. Stay away from pasta breads heavy foods.
It's only on this site that I've seen it used for epilepsy. People I know Take it for severe and debilitating migraine. My son was trialled on it for that reason to reduce appetite as very overweight. He was around 12yrs old
Very normal the first two meds didn't control my seizures at all and my last one stopped working completely. The one I am currently on is working well
