Yes. What I experience is similar to the "brain zap" that sometimes accompanies med withdrawal. But this is more of a wave that kind of washes across my brain then dissipates. It happens just as I'm falling asleep and brings me back, fully awake and a bit panicked thinking I might have a seizure. But I t's not a seizure and never leads to a seizure. And it's not sleep apnea. It happens 1-3x/week. Then it goes away for a while. Then it comes back. No idea why. I don't worry about it other than the brief anxiety when it happens.

Weird things happen all the time when i sleep, i try not to pay to much attention to them. Its can either b medication side effects just living with epilepsy, fatigue. Too many variables. I have to handle them on a case by case basis. They seem to happen alot over the years. Sometimes u cant figure these things out. So to answer your question yes. Remember this ur brain ur talking about. Sometimes im not driving the bus, im just along for the ride.

Yes, my body feels really heavy, almost like my clothes are soaking wet. I get an impending sense of doom. Sometimes I see flecks of ref light floating towards me and hear music. I take Ativan to ward it off.

Make sure you are taking something to help you sleep. You need a good 8-9 hr of deep sleep
